About Me

The aforementioned words were written by a senior of mine at IUT, on the second level of the male hall of residence. These words proved to be true, as there are some incredible people in my immediate vicinity who are giving my life a narrative twist.

A student of Islamic University of Technology (IUT) situated in Boardbazar, Gazipur, Dhaka, Bangladesh. I’m finishing up my BSc in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, and I now reside in room 219 of the North Hall of Residence. I work part-time as a freelance web developer, financial planner, travel filmmaker, and app-developer. I also have a knack for traveling. I imagine that one day I’ll become a digital nomad, travel the globe, and have every stamp of immigration in my passport.

During the COVID era, my freelance career began with a contract project, requiring me to acquire new skills like video editing, programming, and website design. Despite academic pressure, I was able to focus on learning new things and navigate the world of self-learning, despite the challenges of being away from home and commuting.

Traveling has always interested me, and my admiration for it has grown significantly since I started university. On my travel page, you can find an account of my first ever trek in Bandorban. I enjoy the outdoors, love the mountains, and feel more at ease in the wild. Whenever I have some free time, I try to take a trip abroad or in the country. I’ve been around 33 districts in Bangladesh alone, and have visited Nepal and India on two separate occasions. Yet, I still have a whole lot more to see and explore.

Islamic university of technology

As mentioned before, IUT is known as the Red heaven. I’m presently in my fourth year of a BSc Programme in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. It was during my time in this university that I learned how to handle pressure, and started learning and developing my skills.

I have to admit that without the bright, skilled, and inspiring individuals I met at IUT, I would not be in the position I am in today. I used to reside in room 219 in the North Hall of Residence at IUT. I was scheduled to graduate at the end of 2023, but due to the inevitable delay during the COVID-19 pandemic, my new convocation date is expected to be on June 5th of 2024.

2017 - 2019

Adamjee Cantonment College

These two years of my life, from July 1, 2017, to March 14, 2017, transformed me into a better version of myself. I was really committed to my studies during my time in college, and I regularly played with my friends on the campus field. I chose Engineering Drawing as my alternative course rather than Biology. During my time in college, I took part in the Mathematics Olympiad. I had developed my ability to withstand pressure and adhere to deadlines during my time in college.

2008 - 2017

Adamjee Cantonment school

This phase of my life took up approximately ten years from January 3rd, 2008, to January 28th, 2017. I’ve met some incredible people during these ten years, and have some fond recollections. I graduated from Adamjee Cantonment Public School with PSCE, JSC, and SSC degrees. In 2015 and 2016, I took part in the Inter Cantonment Schools Debate and Mathematics Olympiad.. Throughout my time in school, I acquired the skills necessary to make wise judgments, plan my time effectively, and carry out my assignments.

2005 - 2008

St. Vincent De Paul Primary School

Here is where I began my formal academic career. The school was a short distance away from my home. I completed my nursery, kindergarten, and first grade education here. I always participated in the annual sports days and won prizes. This is the institution that taught me to befriend strangers and make room in my life for new people.
